Agnes Oglesby Pressley

Mrs. Pressley was a native of Meriwether County, a daughter of the late Charlie Alton Oglesby and Mary Ellen Kelley Oglesby. During her working life she was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pressley was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former member of Silvertown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Timothy Pressley, a daughter, Rosalyn Howell, and two sons, Gary Pressley and Douglas Pressley. She is survived by her son, Lynwood (Betty) Pressley; her daughter, Nancy Pressley; and two sisters, Bernice (Ronnie) Weaver and Sue Fincher, all of Thomaston. Eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
