Alice Darsey Capel

Mrs. Capel was a native of Dexter, Ga, a daughter of the late James Oscar Darsey and Julia Fennell Darsey. She was employed by the State of Georgia when she moved to Upson County in 1978 and prior to her retirement she was a seamstress for Upson Laundry. Mrs. Capel was member of the First Baptist Church and the Thomaston Hobby Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Capel. Mrs. Capel is survived by her three sons, Jimmie W. (Vickie) Capel of Thomaston, Bobby G. (Jennie) Capel of Clearwater, FL, and Jackie R. (Frances) Capel of Flowery Branch; five grandchildren, Creighton Capel of Concord, Andrew Capel of Thomaston, Steven Capel of Largo, FL, John David Capel of Palm Harbor, FL., and Jeff Capel of Oakwood; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
