Mrs. Ellerbee was a life-long resident of Upson County, a daughter of the late Walter B. Butts and Julia Abernathy Butts. She was employed briefly by the Veterans Services Department, but was primarily a homemaker. Mrs. Ellerbee was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Thurston Homemakers Club and the Thurston Community Club. Mrs. Ellerbee was also an enthusiastic volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Ellerbee, Jr. Mrs. Ellerbee is survived by two daughters, Angeline (Michael) Williams of Loganville and Sharon (Alan) Connell, Thomaston; a son, William T. (Len) Ellerbee, III, of Watkinsville; two brothers, Ray Butts of Atlanta and James E. 'Jim' (Ann) Butts of Thomaston; a sister, Jane (Steve) Collins of Thomaston; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
