Burle "Bo" Turner

Burle 'Bo' Turner, 82, of Thomaston died on Sunday, January 20, 2013. He was born September 6, 1930, son of the late Paul Turner and Hester Turner Simmons. He is survived by daughters Mona Jordan and husband Curtis of Warner Robins, Teri Cothern and husband Mark of Douglasville, and Tammy Martin and husband Andy of McDonough; son Ray and wife Angie Turner of McDonough; grandchildren Mike Cater, Brian Ward, Drew Martin, Corey Turner, Damian Turner and Trinity Turner; and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Murle Minter and Joan McCrary, both of Thomaston, his aunt Maude S. Ward of Heiskell, Tn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bo served his country in the U.S. Navy as a meteorologist, and then enjoyed multiple careers as a school bus driver, a stereotyper at the Macon Telegraph & News, and real estate salesman.
