Cheryl Strawder Hendrix

Mrs. Cheryl Strawder Hendrix, age 68, of Macon GA, died at her residence Saturday morning February 8, 2014. She was a native of Albany GA, born to the late Joseph W. Strawder and Edna Larue Brown Strawder. Mrs. Hendrix was a graduate of Warner Robins High School and had worked for Mauldin and Jenkins CPA Firm as an administrative assistant. She had also work for State Bank in Macon as a teller. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and was a avid choir member as well as a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Hendrix was preceded in death by a son, Joe Caldwell and a brother, David Strawder. Suvivors are her husband, Rev. Don Hendrix, of Macon, GA: daughter, Donna (Mike) Roberts, of Travelers Rest, SC; son, Andy Caldwell, Macon GA; daughter, Tricia (Eric) Owen, Taylors SC; brother, Jay Strawder, Panama City, FL; sister, Georgia Lee Newberry, of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Marie Strawder, of Temple GA; sister, Billie Sue (Ben) Corley, of Rincon GA. Eight grandchildren and three great grand children also survive. A graveside service for Mrs. Hendrix will be held Monday, February 10, 2014, at 11:00 AM in Glenwood Cemetery in Thomaston GA. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston from 9:30 until 10:30 AM prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Hendrix's family will hold a Memorial Service at 3:30 PM on Monday evening at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Macon.
