Cora Connell Melton

Mrs. Cora Connell Melton, age 76, died at her residence on December 12,2013. She worked at Playtex Manufacturing in Manchester, GA. for 27 years and attended Liberty Worship Center. She also assisted her son and daughter-in-law in their store in Woodbury. Mrs. Melton enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and painting ceramics. Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her husband, Aldine Melton. She is survived by a daughter Angela M. (Stoney) Daniel of Molena and two sons, Ronnie Melton and Joe (Sheila)Melton, both of Molena. A sister, Mrs. Jimmie Ann Gill of Woodbury also survives. Six grandchildren, Howard Dean (Jennifer) Melton, Jody Melton, Nick Lane, Audra Lane, Holly Welch, Isaac Daniel and 6 great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5 until 7 PM. Graveside services for Mrs. Melton will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 am at Elkins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Pete Williams will officiate. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
