Mrs. Doris F. Berry, age 80, of Thomaston died Friday, April 5, in Golden Living Center. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 8, at 11:00 AM in Crystal Hill Cemetery. Bobby Pittman will officiate. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Sunday afternoon from 4 until 6 PM. Mrs. Berry was born in Atlanta, Fulton County, Ga to the late Jerry Myer Forsythe and the late Roselle Beam Forsythe. Prior to her retirement, she work for B. F. Goodrich Martha Mills in the Twister Room as a winder operator. Mrs. Berry was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Berry. She is survived by daughters, Judy (Ronnie) Cotton, of Thomaston; Ruth Berry, of Thomaston; Mary (Wayne) Pollard, of Thomaston; brother, Homer Forsythe, of Huntsville, AL; grandchldren, Joey (Audrey) Roberts, of Thomaston; Barbie (Sheldon) Crane, of Thomaston; Stephanie (Chris) Trice, of Thomaston and Grady (Andrea) Pollard, of Thomaston. Eleven great grandchildren also survive. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
