Dorothy Jean Hood

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Hood, 86, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, November 11th, 2014, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Hood will be held on Friday, November 14th, 2014 at 11:00 a. m., in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Weeks will officiate and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hood was a native of Thomaston. She was a retired account manager for Brownell Electro. . Mrs. Hood had been a cub scout leader and was active in the PTA when her children were young. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mrs. Hood is survived by three sons, Benjamin Taylor (Brenda Hallman) Hood of Griffin, Randolph Leon (Cathy) Hood of Williamson and James Gregory (Jennifer) Hood of Bremen; a step-son, Benjamin Leon Hood, Jr., of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Hood will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 until 8 pm.
