Dorothy Self Short

Mrs. Short was a life-long resident of Thomaston and Upson County, a daughter of the late Arthur N. Self and Lula G. Helms Self. She was employed as a seamstress at Sherri Lynn Industries in Zebulon until her retirement. Mrs. Short is survived by three sons, Mike (Debbie) Short of Thomaston, Bobby Short of Riverdale and Freddie (Rose) Short of Baltimore, MD; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Short of Thomaston. Ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Thomason and a son, Larry Short.
