Elizabeth "Ellie" Jane Watson

Elizabeth “Ellie” Jane Watson was born at 4:44 PM on Friday, March 17, 2023, and passed peacefully in the arms of her Mommy and Daddy almost 7 hours later. Her short time here on Earth was perfectly spent surrounded by her loving family who will forever cherish every second they had with her.

Graveside funeral services for Ellie Jane will be held on Thursday, March 23, at 4:00 PM, at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:30 until 3:30 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home.

Ellie Jane will be deeply missed by her parents, Christen and Will Watson, and her big sister, Ansley Watson. The memory of Ellie will forever be cherished by all of her family, including: Grandparents, Rex and Karen Kennedy and William and Rebecca Watson, Great Grandfather, Paw Paw (Robert Withers), Aunt Katy and Uncle Mark Presley, and cousins, Dean, Caroline, and Owen Presley, along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was greeted in Heaven by her Great Grandparents, Nanny and Papa (Janelle and Tommy Howell), Nanny and Papa (Betty and Luke Kennedy), Mam Maw (Elizabeth Withers), Nana (Rachel Snyder), Pop (Sonny Watson), and Uncle Sam Withers.

The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation provided a volunteer photography session to help celebrate Ellie Jane’s short life with her family.
