Frances Laverne Argo Williams

Mrs. Frances Laverne Argo Williams, age 72 , of Thomaston, died Sunday morning, May 18, 2014 in Vitas Hospice in McDonough. Mrs. Williams graduated from R. E. Lee High School and worked for Thomaston Mills. She married Lamar Durell Price and lived in Atlanta for forty years before returning to Thomaston, in 2003. She was an active, devoted and loving mother. She had worked for Levitz Furniture Company in customer service, as a sales representative and as an office manager. She also worked for Havertys Furniture Company. Mrs. Williams was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Richard Williams, siblings, Joyce Argo Martin and Mark Argo. Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Russell) Price Hancock, of McDonough GA; sons, Cory Lamar (Kimberly Ann) Price, Austin TX; Jeff (Kelly Marie Rogers) Price, Estero FL; George Durell (Resa) Price, Thomaston GA; sister, Sandra (Joe) Long, Thomaston GA; brother, Lamar (Iris) Argo, Thomaston GA; grandchildren, Derek Joseph (Kayla) Carden, Cheyenne WY; Cooper Bodee Price, Austin TX; Whitney Denise Hancock, McDonough GA; Joseph Allen Hancock, McDonough GA; Lindsey Jennifer Hancock, McDonough GA; Turner Durell Price, Thomaston GA; Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel; burial will be in Crystal Hill Cemetery. Rev. Claude Turner and Rev. Jason Teal will officiate. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service.
