Mr. Watts was born in Upson County on April 4th, 1917, a son of the late Lemuel J. Watts and Matttie Cato Watts. He was a tinter frame operator at the Bleachery Division of Thomaston Mills prior to his retirement. Mr. Watts was a member of the Hightower Memorial United Methodist Church and served as a member of the official board. He was also a former Sunday School superintendent. Mr. Watts is survived by his wife, Mary Cash Watts; three daughters, Geneva Watts of Honolulu, HI, and Wanda Watts and Paula Hassell, both of Thomaston; a son, Garney Watts of Millsboro, DE; and a brother, Dennis Watts of Escondido, CA. Eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mr. Watts to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA., 30345.
