Mr. Street was a native of Atlanta. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was employed by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department in the maintenance division. Mr. Street was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Rice West. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hammock Street of Dacula; his daughter, Alecia (Robin) Farmer of Dacula; two sons, Reginald Jackie Ballard and Robert Kelly Ballard, both of Bethlehem; his brother, James (June) Street of Lousiana; brothers-in-law, Robert L. (Hazel) Hammock, Lawrence (Bell) Hammock and Samuel (Marie) Hammock, all of Thomaston, William M. Hammock of Fort Myers, Fla. and Fred W. (Rosala) Hammock of Cumming; five grandchildren, Chad Allen, Chaney Allen, Aaron Ballard, Brittany Ballard and Collier Ballard; and nine great grandchildren, Mercedes Allen, Chazz Allen, Ciara Allen, Devonta Allen and Drea Allen, Sky Simonton, and Chaney, Allen, Kristen Allen and Janzley Allen.
