Gaylon Ray Culverhouse

Mr. Gaylon Ray Culverhouse, 58, of Thomaston, died Friday, June 8, 2018, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Culverhouse will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Dr. Bill Todd and Rev. Keith Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, June 13, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Mr. Culverhouse was born May 21, 1960, in Thomaston to the late Eli Jerome and Rachel Purvis Culverhouse. He had worked in line construction with EMC and was employed with 1888 Mills for seven years. Mr. Culverhouse was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mr. Culverhouse is survived by his wife, Cindy Bloodworth Culverhouse of Thomaston; two children, Christina Culverhouse and Daniel Culverhouse, both of Thomaston; three brothers: Greg (Cindy M.) Culverhouse and Gerald 'Arkie' (Melody) Culverhouse, both of Thomaston, and Gary (Diane) Culverhouse of Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, Tony Bloodworth and a sister-in-law Deborah Maddox, both of Thomaston. He is also survived by close friends Matthew Daniel and Tommy Mimbs. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements.
