Gorman "Jimmy" Smith

Mr. Gorman 'Jimmy' Smith, age 74, of West Main Street, died October 23, 2010, in Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Smith was a native of Taylor County, Ga. and lived most of his life in Upson County. He was a retired Customer Service Agent for Delta Airlines. He was a member of the Al Sihah Shrine Temple, the Morning Star Masons, The Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the National Guard. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Smith, daughter, Alethis Burleson, of Thomaston, sons, Mark Smith, Mike Smith of Thomaston, a step-sister Connie (Jerry) Norwood of Norwood, Mo., seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
