Idella Smith Stewart

Mrs. Idella Smith Stewart, age 95, died Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 at Providence Health Care. Mrs. Stewart was a native of Ellijay, born on May 8th, 1917 to the late James Clifford Smith and Lula Maude Lawson Smith. She worked for 24 years as a shipping inspector for Thomaston Mills. Mrs. Stewart was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Stewart of Meansville, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee 'Ed' Stewart, and three sons, Wayne Stewart, Kenneth Stewart and Billy Stewart.
