Jack Fincher

October 11, 1936 — September 5, 2012

A graveside service will be held Monday, with Dr. Edwin L. Cliburn officiating. Mr. Fincher was a native of Rhine, GA, and was a graduate of the R. E. Lee Class of 1955. He served in the Air Force as an Aircraft Gunner from 1955 until 1977. After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Fincher was employed with the U. S. Government Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as an Aircraft Electrician and Production Controller until 1998. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Corine McCranie Fincher Ellerbee; father, Oscar Clinton Fincher; son, Jeffrey Andrew Fincher, and grandson, Jeffrey Tyler Fincher. Survivors are wife, Helen Ruth Prince Fincher; sons, David Fincher, Warner Robins; Jonathan (Ruth) Fincher, McDonough; and brother William Thomas (Lynn)Fincher, Conyers. Nine grandchildren also survive.
