James Albert Grier

December 12, 1931 — June 8, 2010

Mr. Grier was a native of Jackson County, Ga., and had lived in Thomaston for the past six years. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a retired pipefitter for the Ford Motor Co., plant in Hapeville. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Grier is survived by his wife, Rachel Grier; three daughters, Suzette Bosveld of California, Holly Lewis of Cumming and Julie Tucker of Florida; two sons, Tony Grier of Brazelton and James A. Grier of Florida; two step-children, Nelbea Johnson of Thomaston and Randy Johnson of Gay; a brother, Henry 'Duck' Grier of Winder; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service for Mr. Grier will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity Baptist Church.
