James Harold Wainwright

June 26, 1930 — August 23, 2011

Mr. Wainwright was a native of Taylor County. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a loom technician for the Martha Mills Division of the B. F. Goodrich Company until his retirement. In his later life Mr. Wainwright attended Mountain View Baptist Church. He is survived by a step-son, Johnny (Sylvia) Hammonds of Smiths Station, AL; two brothers, Gerald Wainwright of Barnesville and Murrah (Sandra) Wainwright of Thomaston; three grandchildren, Sherrie (Steven) Bennett of Griffin; Tommy (Donna) Barfield of Shellman Bluff, and Shane Barfield of Destin, FL; and three great grandchildren, William Kyle Melton, Zachary James Melton and Mary Catherine Barfield, all of Thomaston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Jackson Wainwright and Mattie Lee Crane Wainwright.
