Janelle "Big Mama" Waller Daniel

Mrs. Janelle 'Big Mama' Waller Daniel, 82, of Meansville, died Monday, February 3rd, 2014 at the Christian Ministries Hospice in Griffin. Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014 at 2 pm at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Jeffrey Zimbelman and Rev. J. B. Teal officiating. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Daniel was born in Harris County on January 18th, 1932, a daughter of the late Grover Smith and Georgia McArthur Smith. She was employed as a cashier for over 35 years for theSing Convenience Store in Thomaston. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Mrs. Daniel is survived by her husband, James Ernest Daniel; twelve children, Jeanie (Bruce) Hayes of Thomaston, Tony (Cindy) Amos of Woodstock, Vivian (Wayne) Cleveland of Thomaston, Becky (Larry) Law of Thomaston, Janet (Dave) Busha of Thomaston, Vikki Amos of Thomaston, Jimmy (Lynn) Daniel of Thomaston, Sheila (Lee Hancock) Daniel of Thomaston, Kay Goodman of Thomaston, Julie (Randy) Teal of Thomaston, David Daniel of Thomaston and Diana (Tim) Weaver of Thomaston. Survivors also include a sister, Lillian (Charles Wicker) Short of Stone Mountain and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Daniel will receive friends at Smyrna Baptist Church on Wednesday from 1 pm until the funeral hour.
