Jefflyn Ruth Bartlett Hardy

Mrs. Hardy was born on May 16th, 1924, the only child of Lucile and Shade Bartlett. She was the salutatorian of her Molena High School Class and graduated from Bessie Tift College in 1946. Following graduation Mrs. Hardy taught English and coached basketball in Fayette County and Pike County, then was employed by AT & T in Atlanta. In 1951 she married Willis Hardy, Sr., of Molena. Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, Mark Bartlett Hardy. Mrs. Hardy is survived by her son, Willis 'Dick' Hardy, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Deborah Hardy of Yatesville and Kimberly Hardy of Thomaston; four grandchildren, Amelia Hardy, April (Justin) Savage, Russell Brumbelow and Mitchell Brumbelow; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Savage and Andrew Savage.
