Johnnie Mae Hobbs

Mrs. Johnnie Mae Hobbs, age 89 , of Yatesville, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 , in Providence Health and Rehab. Mrs Hobbs was a native of Early County, GA and had lived in Yatesville for several years. She was the daughter of the late John Richard Prince and the late Ethel Pierson Prince. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a manager with Bell Telephone Company and with AT&T. She was a member of Yatesville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Hobbs was predeceased by her husband, James Benjamin Hobbs. She is survived by a niece, Cheryl Cannington, Iron City, GA: three nephews, Thomas Barksdale, Woodstock, GA; Edward Pumphrey, Donaldsonville, GA; Mike Leslie Pumphrey, Donaldsonville, GA; and a sister-in-law, Frances Prince, Damascus, GA.
