Mr. Carriker died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 in Tampa, FL. Mr. Carriker was born in Thomaston, GA on July 8,1933. He was a 1952 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. He attended Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, GA. He moved to Florida in 1998. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Merle (Evelyn) Carriker, Sr. and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. H. White, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. William Pinkney Carriker, all of Thomaston, GA. Survivors include his uncle and aunt, Marion and Colleen White of Forsyth, GA, cousins, Billy Mitcham and family of Thomaston, GA, Carole (Warren) James and family of Tampa, Mary(Steve) Richards and family of Mobile, AL, Deidre (Greg) Arends and family of Sugar Grove, IL, Cyree White of Stockbridge, GA, Lewis (Linda) White and family of Milner, GA, Michelle Smith and family of Forsyth, GA, Linda Cook and family of, Mary Salter Bruce and family of Brandon, FL, Gene (Pat) White and family of Baton Rouge, LA.
