Katie Elizabeth "Meme" Thompson

Mrs. Katie Elizabeth 'MeMe' Thompson, 66, of 418 4th Avenue, Thomaston, died Tuesday, September 4th, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Thompson was born on September 22, 1945 in Alamo, GA. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Britt Oil Company and was most recently shop manager for Traditions of Thomaston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Thompson is survived by two daughters, Melody (Ken) Gaskins of Thomaston and Michelle (Mark) Wilson of Marietta; a brother, Neal 'Pete' (Carol) Baldwin of Griffin; her fiance, Jerry Teems of Thomaston; a half-sister, Jean Ogden of Darien; and four grandchildren, Lauren Gaskins, Katelyn Gaskins, Zachary Wilson and Sophie Wilson. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Zoey Wilson.
