Landice Capel Mcdaniel

Mrs. Landice Capel McDaniel, age 89, formerly of Sunnyside Road, died Friday Morning in Laurel Bay Health Care in Greenville, South Carolina. Mrs. McDaniel was a native of Pike County and a resident of Upson County for most of her life. Mrs. McDaniel was retired from the Spinning Department of Thomaston Mills. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Tony McDaniel, in 1996. Mrs. McDaniel is survived by: son - Carlton McDaniel and wife Becky, of Thomaston; granddchildren - Mindi Howard and husband Rick Howard, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Brooke Varner and husband Cris Varner, of Simpsonville, South Carolina; and Hope Huey and her husband Robert Huey, of Sharpsburg, Ga. Great-Grandchildren - Landi Baldwin, Riley Varner, Hunter Varner, Austin Howard, Joshua Howard, Will Huey, Mekeyia Huey, and Amanda Huey.
