Miss Lillian Nelson, age 92, of 420 Howell Street, died Tuesday Morning, March 23rd, at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Friday Morning, March 26th, at 11 o'clock in the Grace Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Julius Stewart and Elder Lavone Anderson will officiate. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Miss Nelson was a native of Upson County. She was retired as a computer programer for the Department of Defense where she kept records for the strength of the armed forces. Miss Nelson was a member of Grace Primitve Baptist Church and had been a member of Thhomaston China Painters for 20 years. She was also a member of the Upson Historical Society and TUAC. Miss Nelson is survived by: 1 Sister, Mrs. Dorothy N. Pinkstaff, of Thomaston; 2 Brothers - Mr. Robert B. Nelson, of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; and Mr. William R. Nelson, of McRae, Georgia. Many nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock Thursday Night.
