Louie "L. H." Hardage

November 27, 1924 — July 6, 2010

Mr. Hardage was a native of Thomaston, a son of the late Louie H. Hardage, Sr., and Ida Mae Corley Hardage. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and saw action as a Gunners Mate Second Class during the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa on an LCTS escort. Mr. Hardage was a former employee of the Federal Paper Board Company. He had also worked for several service stations in Thomaston. Mr. Hardage is survived by his wife, Carol June Daniel Hardage; a daughter, Danielle (Glenn) Ward of Molena; a son, David (Lynn) Hardage of Sharpsburg; two brothers, Harold Hardage of Thomaston and Hewell Hardage of Macon; and a grandson, Jeremy Blount of Thomaston.
