Mrs. Christopher was a native of Shelbyville, TN, but had lived in Molena for the past 30 years. A Navy wife for over 20 years, she worked as a registered dental technician. After settling in Molena, Mrs. Christopher opened Margie's Diner in Zebulon, a business she operated for 15 years. Mrs. Christopher was active in the VFW. Mrs. Christopher was a Gold Star Mother, her son, Jimmie W. Woodson having been killed while serving in the U. S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawson T. Christopher and a great granddaughter, Caroline Miller. Mrs. Christopher is survived by four daughters, Sharon (Reggie) Parker of Molena, Kay (Wayne) Anthony of Zebulon, Patricia (Chet) Eckman of Pennsylvania, and Mattie (Gerald) Ray of Meansville; a son, Lawson Christopher of Newport, RI; a sister-in-law, Helen Uhas of Jonesboro; 13 grandchildren, Victoria (Nathan) York, Christine Green, Larenda Caldwell, Meagan Pearson, Mary Miller, Michael (Lisa) Kalil, Lynn Turner, Casey Williams, Lindsey (Michael) Paranzino, Sarah (Donald) Smith, Kaitlin Christopher and fiance Dave DiMaria, Joanna Parker and Lynsey Parker; 12 great grandchildren, Garrett York, Margaret York, Kirstin Caldwell, Kimberly Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell, Gabriella Pearson, Heavyn Horton, Hayden Turner, Aniya Turner, Christina Miller, Courtney Miller and Mekhi Kalil; and four great great grandchildren, Logan Correia, Maxton Paranzino, Connor Smith and Wendall Joseph Beale.
