Mrs. Carlene Thompson Ethridge, age 75, of 117 Park Lane, Thomaston, died Thursday Afternoon, December 27th, in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 29th, at 3 o'clock in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston. Rev. Dean Hemphill will officiate. Interment will be in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ethridge was a native of Hawkinsville, Georgia She graduated from Young Harris College with a business degree. Mrs. Ethridge was a cashier at River Bend Restaurant and a purchaser at Thomaston Mills for 37 years. She was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Ethridge was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Ethridge, and her parents, Freeman Carlos Thompson and Katherlene Yancey Thompson. Mrs. Ethridge is survived by: 1 daughter - Mrs. Staci E. (Jay) Watson, of Thomaston; 1 son - Mr. Del (Regina) Maddox, of Thomaston; 6 grandchildren - Melissa Maddox, Nick Hunt, Chris Hunt, Jim Hunt, and April Sullivan, all of Thomaston, and Joey Watson, of Summerville, South Carolina. 11 great-grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 1 o'clock until 3 o'clock Saturday Afternoon.
