Martha Sue Chandler Kilgore

Mrs. Martha Sue Chandler Kilgore, 60, of Lizella and formerly of Thomaston, died Friday, May 10th, 2013 at the Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. Mrs. Kilgore was born on August 31st, 1952 in Barnesville, a daughter of the late Paul Chandler and Flora McGouirk Chandler. She worked for the William Carter Company for 26 years as an inspector, and later worked for Dollar General, Cub Foods, Top Dollar and Family Dollar Stores. Mrs. Kilgore was a faithful member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Lizella. She was a loving and caring mother to her children. Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her husband of over 42 years, Donald Wayne Kilgore, Sr; her daughter, Shawna Kilgore (Erik) Larson of Carrollton; her son, Donnie (Brandy) Kilgore of Kathleen; four sisters, Florine Bennett of Rockmart, Diane Varnadoe of Mentone, AL, Bevery Taylor of Portia, AR and Betty Jo Banks of Douglasville; nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
