Mary Eula Storey

Mrs. Mary Eula Storey, 88, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 at Riverside Nursing Center. Mrs. Storey was born in Pike County, a daughter of the late Edgar Harrison McDaniel and Mary Sibbie Childs McDaniel. She was employed by Thomaston Mills and retired after 43 years of continuous service. In 1987 she began working part-time at Walmart. Mrs. Storey was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and the Hightower United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Bill Allen of Meansville; two grandchildren, Stacy (Peter) Paulk of Meansville and Clint Allen of Griffin; a great grandson, Easton Burton of Meansville; two sisters-in-law, Joyce McDaniel of Thomaston and Delaree McDaniel of Columbus; a brother-in-law, Floyd Mooney of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Storey, Jr., and a son, Malcolm Storey.
