Miss Margaret Elizabeth Britt

Miss Margaret Elizabeth Britt, 73, of Thomaston, died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. Graveside funeral services for Miss Britt will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Upson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim South officiating. Miss Britt was born in Thomaston on September 30, 1947, a daughter of the late A. A. and Willie Ester Jackson Britt, Jr. She was a 1965 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. She had been employed by the State Department of Transportation and later NCR in Fayetteville. Miss Britt was an animal lover and particularly enjoyed caring for stray dogs, seeing that they were fed and had veterinary care. Miss Britt is survived by several cousins.
