Miss Sarah Anne Daniel

Miss Sarah Anne Daniel, 82, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Funeral services for Miss Daniel will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Elder Lee Price officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family of Miss Daniel will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 until 2:00 PM. Miss Daniel was born in Thomaston on September 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Norris H. and Carlene Curry Daniel. She was a retired secretary for the Georgia Department of Transportation. Miss Daniel was a member of the Flint River Primitive Baptist Church. She was also a past treasurer for the Upson County Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). She is survived by two sisters, Joyce Daniel Gardner of Milledgeville and Marjorie Daniel Hadden of Cumming; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and one great-great nephew.
