Mother Marie Kendall Holston

Mother Marie Kendall Holston was born November 13, 1937,to the late Bosie and Lula Kendall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, at St. Mary AME Church in Thomaston, GA.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, from 1:00 -5:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home in Thomaston.

She was a member of Logtown Bethel Church. She served on the Mother Board,Usher Board and sang in the Senior Choir. She was also a member of the Griffin Gospel Fan Club with a close friend Pat Blackmon.

Besides her parents , she was preceded in death by her daughter Margie Garmon, grandson Antron Garmon, granddaughter Tiffany Holston, and two brothers Edward and Earnest Kendall.

On Wednesday November 22,2023 God blew his heavenly trumpet to welcome his Servant, Mother Marie. She will be greatly missed by her family,her church family and many friends. She leaves to cherish her memory; four children Mary Holston( Calvin), Zepha Dawson(Charlie), Archie Holston and Bernard Holston(Crystal) all of Thomaston,Ga , one brother Joseph Kendall(Barbara) of Cleveland,Oh ,eleven grandchildren;Lisa Durham(Neil), Kawanda King(Donovan), Kalaka Mackey( Terrell), Iesha Price, Anesshil Little, Weshimiya Holston, Archie Holston Jr.( Megan), Jesse Garmon, Arshanese Holston, Sierra Holston, Tierra Holston, eighteen great grandchildren ,seven great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
