Mr. Alan E. Brown

Mr. Alan Elliott Brown, 59, of Snellville and formerly of Woodbury, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 in Snellville. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be held on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wright officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 pm until the funeral hour. Mr. Brown was born in Thomaston on June 27th, 1956, a son of the late Wilburn Brown and Rachel Fallin Brown. He was a salesman for High Cotton Antiques in Woodbury and was formerly employed as a salesman for Bostwicks Furniture Store in Thomaston. He grew up in the Trinity Baptist Church and had recently attended the Lawrenceville Church of God. Mr. Brown is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Karen B. and Pastor Gary Wright of Snellville; an aunt, Laverne (Frank) Shepard of Thomaston; an uncle, Dennis Brown of Thomaston; and nieces, great nieces and great nephews, Ashley Robb, Amber Blankenship, Hailey Frank, Rachael Garner, and Brady Robb, all of Marietta.
