Mr. Alfred "Al" Dell Lee, age 77, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Well Star West Georgia Hospice in Lagrange, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Lee will be held on Friday, July 12, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home, with Mr. Ken Corley officiating. The family of Mr. Lee will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Lee was born on May 22, 1942, in Atlanta, GA, to Dorthy Spurlin Lee and the late Nolan Dell Lee. Mr. Lee attended seminary and later pastored several Assembly of God churches. He was the owner and operator of Lee Piano Tuning of Thomaston. Mr. Lee loved music very much. He played the bass guitar and saxophone. Following participation in several musical tours hosted by various branches of the U.S. armed forces, Mr. Lee participated in several international musical tours in Canada and most notably in the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain. In his later years, Mr. Lee was employed by Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union Park, FL. Mr. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Robin Goldin Lee of Thomaston; a daughter, Lisa (Ronnie) Milikin of Texas; a son, Roy (Marsha) Lee of Mississippi; his mother, Dorthy Spurlin Lee of Conyers; two sisters, Amanda (Ken) Corley of Conyers; Sarah Lee of Texas; two brothers, John (Judy) Lee of Lagrange; Paul (Julie) Lee of Alabama; and three grandchildren, Natascha Rager of Camden, SC; Kaytlain and Christian Milikin both of Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements.
