Mr. Alvin Jimmerson

Mr. Alvin Jimmerson, 90, of Thomaston, died Thursday, July 13th, 2017, at Riverside Health and Rehab. Funeral services for Mr. Jimmerson will be held on Sunday, July 16th, 2017, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Hendricks Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Mr. Jimmerson will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour. Mr. Jimmerson served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Mr. Jimmerson owned and operated Jimmerson Well Company, and Crest Garage & Equipment Company. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Jimmerson is survived by his wife, Eleanor E. Jimmerson of Thomaston, and his son, Marcus Jimmerson of Iowa Park, TX. He is preceded in death by his son Robert Jackson Jimmerson. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
