Mr. Aubrey Alexander Brown, 86, of Thomaston, died Monday, August 6th, 2018 at the Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be held on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Graham officiating. The family of Mr. Brown will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until the funeral hour. Mr. Brown was born and raised in The Cove Community of Meriwether County on October 5, 1931, a son of the late Julius Wesley and Lottie Bishop Brown. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Brown was employed by the Martha Mills Division of The B. F. Goodrich Company for over 39 years. He was later employed as a security guard with the Upson Regional Medical Center for 13 years. He was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Brown was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Frankie Dickens Brown; two sons, Barry (Kim) Brown of Jupiter, FL, and Blake (Bette) Brown of Houston, TX; and two grandchildren, Bethany Brown and Brian Brown.
