Mr. Aubrey Thomas "Tommy" Harp

Mr. Aubrey Thomas 'Tommy' Harp, age 61, of 481 River Road, Woodland, Ga. died Friday, August 28, 2009, at his residence. Graveside service will be held, Monday, August 31, 2009, at 11:00 AM, in South View Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence of Mrs. Chester Ellington, Mrs. Connie Harp's mother, 1615 Hwy 19 North., Thomaston, Ga. 30286, and will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Sunday evening, August 30, 2009, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Mr. Harp was born on, December 13, 1947, in Upson County, Georgia, to the late Clarence E. Harp and Martha Ward Harp. He retired from the Georgia National Guard with the rank of E8. Mr. Harp also retired from the Georgia Department of Transportaion where he was employed as a Supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Connie Ellington Harp, Woodland; a daughter, Brandy Harp (Todd) McBroom, Barnesville; a son, Aubrey Thaddeus Harp, II, Griffin; two sisters, Mrs. Patsy Crawley, Thomaston; Mrs. Louise McRae, Thomaston; a brother Clarence Harp, Thomaston; and four grandchildren, Parker Vaughn McBroom, Barnesville; Thomas Hayes McBroom, Barnesville; Venessa Autumn Harp, Thomaston; and Preston Thomas Harp, Griffin. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
