Mr. Brian Pacatte

Mr. Brian Patrick Pacatte, 64, of Griffin, died Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at Spalding Regional Hospital. Memorial services for Mr. Pacatte will be held on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Truitt and Rev. Katrina Wood officiating. The family of Mr. Pacatte will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the service hour. Mr. Pacatte was born on April 24th, 1952 in Libertyville, IL, a son of the late Donald Patrick Pacatte and the late Helen Pacatte Stevens. He had been a general contractor and was also employed by Phillips Respironics. Mr. Pacatte loved animals, particularly dogs. He also enjoyed gardening. He had attended Roman Catholic and Baptist churches. Mr. Pacatte is survived by his wife, Brenda Shepard Pacatte; a daughter, Jessica Pacatte of Charlotte, NC; a step-daughter, Jade (Scott) Spratling of Hoschton; a step son, Phil (Lindsey) Ellerbee, Jr., of Alto; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Laverne Shepard of Thomaston; seven sisters, Patty Stone, Kristine (Bill) Rickert, Connie (Jack) Herchenbach, Kelli (Corky) Douglas, Sharon Collins, Stephanie Schroeder, and Sandy (Pete) Roberts; a brother, Scott (Colleen) Pacatte; ten grandchildren and 22 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents is was preceded in death by his step-father, Ralph Stevens, a brother, Charles 'CB' Pacatte; and a brother-in-law, Dick Stone.
