Mr. Calvin Christopher "Fat" Wright

Mr. Calvin Christopher “Fat” Wright, age 71, of Molena, died Monday, April 18, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Weeks and Rev. Jimmy Wright will officiate, and interment will follow the service in Hendricks Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM prior to the service at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Wright was born April 1, 1951, in Thomaston, a son of the late Calvin Lee Wright and the late Elsey Talley Fullerton Wright. He was a truck driver for Georgia Department of Transportation and was employed for 26 years with the Peerless Division of Thomaston Mills. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Mr. Wright was a member of Hendricks Baptist Church. Mr. Wright is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Montgomery Wright of Molena; his sons, Joseph Christopher (Amy) Wright of Hollonville; Rev. Jimmy David (Cindy) Wright of Thomaston; and his sister, Ann McGraw of Warm Springs. He was a proud Grandfather of Ridge Wright, Tyler Bridges, and Trey Bridges. Also surviving are his aunts, Sally Tucker and Rachel Chapman both of Thomaston, and several nieces and nephews.
