Mr. Charles Aubrey Harp

Mr. Charles Aubrey Harp, 89, of Monticello and formerly of Thomaston, died Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at Piedmont Newton Health Care in Covington. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Harp will be held on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at 2:00 PM in South View Cemetery with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. The family of Mr. Harp will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 until 7 PM. Mr. Harp was born in Thomaston on April 12th, 1929, a son of the late Alfred and Louise Hammett Harp. He was a graduate of Yatesville High School and was the owner operator of Topeka Junction Auto Parts, Charles A. Harp Used Cars, and the Harp Center on North Center. He attended the First Baptist Church. Mr. Harp is survived by his daughter, Jan Harp of Monticello. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace B. Harp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Upson Humane Society RESCUE ADOPTION FUND, P. O. Box 1152, Thomaston, GA 30286.
