Mr. Charles Everett Huckaby

Mr. Charles Everett Huckaby, 62, of Thomaston, died Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Huckaby will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM in South View Cemetery with Rev. Ron Whitlock officiating. The family of Mr. Huckaby will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Mr. Huckaby was born in Thomaston on April 18, 1957, a son of the late James Everett Huckaby and Geneva Fleming Huckaby. He was a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Huckaby was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Huckaby is survived by his mother, Geneva F. Huckaby; a daughter, Nicki Huckaby of Sharpsburg; a son, Benjamin Lee (Amanda) Huckaby of Newnan; a sister, Marie Thompson, and a brother, Terry Huckaby, both of Thomaston; his sister-in-law, Kathy Huckaby; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Tommy Huckaby and Jerry Wayne Huckaby, Sr. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
