Mr. Charles Wesley "Yogi" Perdue, age 76, of Monroe, Georgia, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at Emory University Hospital. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Perdue will be held on Saturday, July 23, at 12:00 PM, in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home from 10:00 until 11:30 AM. Mr. Perdue was born in Upson County on February 22, 1946, to the late Wesley Perdue and Ruby Wilson Perdue. He was a graduate of Yatesville High School. Mr. Perdue was employed in law enforcement with the Upson County Sheriff's Office and the Molena Police Department, and he later was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of The Rock Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Ware Young, and a brother, Wilson Perdue. He is survived by a niece, Anna Ware, and two nephews, Brian (Karen) Perdue and Glenn Ware; and several great nieces and nephews.
