Mr. Claude Lee Speck

Mr. Claude Lee Speck, age 70, of Molena, GA, died Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 2:00 PM, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Mr. Speck was born on November 21, 1946, in Americus, Georgia, to the late Claude Lee Speck and Clydie Bilbrey Speck. He was active in the Thomaston-Upson and Pike County Recreation Departments as a coach. He coached the 2016 8U Dixie Youth State Championship Team that played in the World Series. Mr. Speck is survived by his son, Christopher Lee Speck; one grandson, Caden Michael Speck; sister, Jacquelyn Atwood of Lilburn, GA; brothers; Gerald Speck of Ellijay, GA; and, William (Rhonda) Speck of Canton, GA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Speck is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Earl Speck. It is the request of the family that memorial contributions be made to the Thomaston-Upson or Pike County Recreation Departments.
