Mr. Clayton Troy "C. T." Smith

Mr. Clayton Troy "C. T." Smith, 58, of Griffin, GA, died Friday, August 12, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Smith was born in Waycross, GA, on September 11, 1963, to Tina Smith and the late William David Smith, Sr. He was self-employed as a pilot escort vehicle driver and was an excellent vocalist and guitarist. He had performed with several bands including Brother Smith, Hip Shakers, and Ex Presidents. In addition to his father, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Sean Smith. He is survived by his mother, Tina Smith of Fernandina Beach, FL; two sisters: Cindy Marsh and Kristen (Daniel) Nolan both of AL; two brothers: Chris Smith of Barnesville, GA, and David (Denise) Smith of Kennesaw, GA; and an aunt: Eloise Bryant of Waycross, GA.
