Mr. Dannis Elmer Presley

Mr. Dannis Elmer Presley, age 74, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at his residence.

Memorial services for Mr. Presley will be held Saturday, December 10, at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Presley was born in Spalding County, Georgia, on October 26, 1948, a son of the late Otis Presley and Frances Chambley Presley. He was employed in the supply room of Thomaston Mills as a supervisor. He was later employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation and retired as a construction project manager. Dannis was a Scout Master for Troop 26 and a member of the Lions Club. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking and camping. He loved his family very much, especially his children and grandchildren. Mr. Presley was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Mr. Presley is. survived by his wife, Sally Presley of Thomaston, his daughters Christin (Jay) Brown of Thomaston; Rae (Kevin) Jarrell of Brunswick; his son, Dannis “Bubba” Presley of Summerville, SC; his sister, Donna Presley of Thomaston; his brother Phillip (Debbie) Presley of Thomaston; his grandchildren, Anna (Walter Navarro) Davis, Landen Davis, Nick Davis, Olivia Jarrell, Julia Jarrell, Lilian Jarrell, Adalyn Jarrell, Hayden Presley, Baylor Presley, Paxtyn Presley, Paysley Presley.
