Mr. David Russell Gilbert

Mr. David Russell Gilbert, 58, of Jeff Davis Road, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Gilbert was born November 13, 1958, in Thomaston, to the late Marvin McClinton Gilbert, Jr. and Katie Mae Huckaby Gilbert. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Gilbert was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute, and he studied Heating and Air Conditioning Technology at Upson Technical College. He had worked for A&B Heating and Cooling, Georgia LP, and Anytime Heating and Air. Survivors include three daughters: Robyn Gilbert of Thomaston, GA; Ashley (Robert) Yates of Columbus, GA; and Carmen Gilbert of Thomaston, GA; four grandchildren: Ethan Adams of Thomaston, GA; Ava Webb of Columbus, GA; Candler Shaw of Thomaston, GA; and Isabella Yates of Columbus, GA; two sisters: Joan G. Wisham of Pinellas Park, FL, and Brenda G. Eubanks of Clearwater, FL; and one brother Donald (Judy) Gilbert of Thomaston, GA. Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
