Mr. Donnie Wayne Hendrix

Mr. Donnie Wayne Hendrix, age 52, of Thomaston, died Monday, February 12, 2018, at his residence. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Hendrix will be held Thursday, February 15, at 2:00 PM, in the Crystal Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jereme Chaney officiating. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, February 14, from 5 until 7 PM. Mr. Hendrix was retired from Kenny's Collision where he worked as an automobile body technician. He was a 1983 graduate of Upson High School where he was an honor graduate, finishing in the top ten per cent of his class. Mr. Hendrix loved drag racing, fishing, and shooting pool. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by his father, Billy Lee Hendrix, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Tracey H. Hendrix of Thomaston; his mother, Cheryl T. Hendrix of Meansville; a son, Dustin Z. (Jessica) Hendrix of Thomaston; one granddaughter, Kinslee B. Hendrix of Thomaston; two sisters: Sherrie Hendrix Helms of Meansville and Melisa H. (Bubba) Hammond of Thomaston; one brother, Billy Lee (Tangie) Hendrix, Jr., of Thomaston; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronny E. (Frankie) Huckaby, Sr., of Thomaston; one brother-in-law, Ronny (Kim) Huckaby, Jr., of Thomaston; four nieces: Amber Hendrix, Tristen Helms, Briana Helms, and Marisa Hammond; two nephews: Blake Hammond and Jesse Nipp; a great niece, Lydia, and a great nephew, Parker.
