Mr. Gorman Michael "Mike" Smith

Mr. Gorman Michael "Mike" Smith, age 58, of Thomaston, died Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held on Monday, November 26, at 2:00 PM, in the Wesley Church Cemetery in Butler, GA, with Rev. Joey Smith officiating. Mr. Smith was born February 26, 1960, to Gorman "Jimmy" Smith and Sylvia Dunnahoo Smith. He worked in the construction business and attended New Bethel Church in Jonesboro, GA. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Sylvia Dunnahoo Smith of Thomaston, GA; a daughter, Amanda Smith of Thomaston, GA; two sons: Michael Andrew Smith of Connecticut and Brian Daniel Smith of Washington state; a sister, Alethia Burleson of Forsyth, GA; and a brother, Jimmy Mark Smith of Thomaston, GA.
